Update: it looks like the $299 (128GB) phones have have currently sold out. Mint Mobile has quietly launched a great deal for the Google Pixel 10 Pro (128GB), on sale for $299 when bundled with a 1-year discounted unlimited mobile plan. The Pixel 10 Pro, the latest Google flagship 10, typically retails for $999, so this is a $700 discount. The phone comes bundled with 1-year of unlimited for the added cost of $180 (normally $360). One of the phones in our household drastically needed an upgrade, so I picked up one of these for myself. A few other variations of this phone have already sold out, so I don’t expect this deal to last much longer – it’s the best offer I’ve seen for a phone from a prepaid carrier this year. This offer appears to be for new customers only. When you purchase a phone directly from Mint Mobile, it’s locked to their network. This means it won’t accept SIM cards from any other carriers and you can’t use it on another wireless carrier’s network until it is unlocked. Mint Mobile phones are automatically unlocked 60 days after activation on their network, which is generous.
Note: I initially had an issue completing my purchase in the shopping cart with a credit card. However, I switched to PayPal and the order went through just fine. Maybe the standard processing on the site wasn’t working due to site overload. FYI.
