Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Bands

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 was officially revealed on July 9 at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event, and Samsung promptly made the pre-orders available the same day, with devices shipping by July 25. Samsung didn’t just reveal the new watch, though. It also revealed several new bands to go along with the Galaxy Watch 8, giving customers more choice for watch customization than ever before. At least from the initial launch period of the device.

For the launch of the Galaxy Watch 8, Samsung is releasing four official bands for it. Each of these bands also comes in five colors. There is some overlap with the colors from band to band. However, each band also has at least one or two unique color options. Which might sway some customers to buy a specific band over another. The bands that Samsung is releasing for the Galaxy Watch 8 are the Sport band, the Athleisure band, the Fabric band, and the Hybrid band. The Hybrid band, as you may have guessed, is Samsung’s take on a leather band. It’s essentially the leather style on the outside, with a silicone rubber base that’s more like the Sport band material. Probably for longevity and sweat-resistance.

So many Galaxy Watch 8 Bands to choose from, so little time

While that statement might be just a little overreaching, it fits, given that in the past, Samsung has released fewer colors for some of its official offerings at launch. This time around, customers are getting five colors of each band right away. That bodes well for fans of the Galaxy Watch 8 who like to accessorize. Because this probably means there will be more color options down the line. Though we’re just guessing here.

For the official colors, the Classic Hybrid band has the most unique options. It’s the only band that comes in Black, Taupe, and Camel. It’s also available in Blue and White, which are available across Samsung’s entire lineup.

The Sport band comes in Graphite, Mint, and Pink in addition to the Blue and White colors. The Athleisure band also comes in Graphite as well as Blue and White, and its unique Green and Sage colors. Lastly, there’s the Fabric band, which comes in Blue, Graphite, Mint, White, and Red.
