Premium electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette has partnered with Elektroride, marking its entry into Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic. With Elektroride serving as its official distributor across these territories, Ultraviolette now has a presence in 19 European countries.

Through this partnership, Ultraviolette will introduce its performance electric motorcycles to these markets, beginning with the F77 Mach 2 and the F77 SuperStreet. Building on Elektroride’s established retail presence in electric motorcycles, scooters, and e-bikes, Ultraviolette is well-positioned for a successful market entry and sustained growth across these territories.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said: “This alliance marks a pivotal milestone in our global expansion as Ultraviolette moves beyond India into some of the world’s most discerning motorcycling markets. With a strong foothold already established across 12 European countries, Ultraviolette is poised to accelerate its worldwide growth following successful launches in these demanding markets. To riders across Hungary and Central Europe, we seek to bring aviation-inspired design, unmatched capability and performance, and future-forward technology that redefines the motorcycling experience with every Ultraviolette ride. Guided by this vision, we are confident that this partnership will establish a world-class Ultraviolette ecosystem, from product experience to after-sales support. This is only the beginning, and we are excited about the journey ahead.”

    New facility

Ultraviolette was founded in 2016 by Narayan Subramaniam and Niraj Rajmohan, and is backed by marquee investors including TVS Motor, Qualcomm Ventures, TDK, Lingotto (formerly Exor), and the Vembu brothers. The company recently committed ₹200 crore toward the first phase of its manufacturing expansion in Karnataka. As part of a broader five-year investment plan, Ultraviolette is also exploring a second phase that would see the establishment of a new production facility, Ultraviolette Automotive, with an annual capacity of 1.5 lakh units, though the details of this investment are yet to be finalised.
