Corkscrew Members are invited to attend a virtual lecture on March 13: Celebrating Raptor Conservation in Florida, featuring Katie Warner, Center Director, and Daisy Fiore, PhD, Senior Education Coordinator, at Audubon Center for Birds of Prey.

Audubon Center for Birds of Prey is a premier rehabilitation and education facility dedicated to rescuing, treating, and releasing Florida’s raptors, including the adorable Eastern Screech-Owlets shown here.

During the lecture, Katie will share highlights about the National Audubon Society’s origins in Maitland and the subsequent establishment of the Center, as well as the latest news on raptor conservation efforts in Florida.

Then, Daisy Fiore, PhD, will take us on a special journey through the Center’s Raptor Trauma Clinic while providing helpful information on how to protect raptors in your own community.

This special lecture is for Corkscrew members only. Corkscrew members receive free admission tickets to the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. The Zoom meeting link will be provided one week prior to the lecture.
