At the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) 2026 Convention in San Antonio, Samsung Electronics is putting connected classrooms on display. It is offering Educators and school leaders a chance to see how Samsung’s connected display ecosystem fosters engaging learning environments and improves student outcomes. Samsung is introducing the WAFX-P, its upcoming AI Interactive Display for classrooms. This will deepen student engagement and further encourage in-person collaboration and communication.

Samsung is introducing the WAFX-P, an AI-powered Interactive Display for classrooms

WAFX-P is powered by the Samsung AI Assistant. This, as per Samsung, will help educators turn lessons into a dynamic, collaborative experience. It’ll offer a more robust set of tools for organizing content, guiding discussion, and facilitating formative assessments. It also offers features like Circle to Search, AI Summary, and Live Transcript, which support exploration, comprehension, and accessibility to revisit and reinforce key concepts from the curriculum.

Samsung says that WAFX-P will fit into existing classroom workflows and is Google EDLA-certified. It provides access to familiar tools such as Google Classroom and Google Drive. It will be available in 65-, 75-, and 86-inch sizes. The display offers 450-nit max brightness.

The Interactive Display for classrooms also gets a built-in 4K camera, all-in-one video calling capabilities, and runs Android 15 OS. There’s a built-in microphone and a 20W speaker. Samsung claims it’ll offer smooth performance during multitasking and multimedia-rich instruction, as students write, draw, and collaborate on the board in real time.

    Beyond product ecosystem

Samsung notes that support for teachers and students extends beyond its product ecosystem. It offers initiatives that foster problem-solving, creativity, and real-world learning. The “Samsung Solve for Tomorrow” education program has apparently awarded over $29 million in technology and classroom resources to more than 4,300 schools in the US.

It says that this school year, entrepreneurs Mark Cuban and Emma Grede are serving as the first-ever Solve for Tomorrow ambassadors. They will help elevate AI literacy, emerging technology, and mentorship among students and educators nationwide. Furthermore, in partnership with the Mark Cuban Foundation, Samsung is also expanding free AI training resources for teachers and students.
