Samsung looks to have another new pair of earbuds in the works that are being referred to as the Galaxy T1, with details having been found about these earbuds that point to them being a more sporty pair, complete with ear hooks to ensure they stay put during more active use. This new leak comes just after a recent leak of the Galaxy Buds On design and some of the features that those earbuds will offer.

Sport earbuds are a popular option with brands and users, and you’ll find options from the likes of Sony, Beats, Skullcandy, Soundcore by Anker, and JBL just to name a few. This will be Samsung’s first pair of true wireless earbuds that feature an over-the-ear hook style for sport activities.

Samsung’s Galaxy T1 earbuds use a full ear hook design

According to leaked information from SammyGuru, the T1 earbuds will feature the full ear hook design that wraps around the back of the ear. A vector image of the earbuds can be seen as well showing what the icon is supposed to look like inside the Galaxy Wearable app. The leak also lists a handful of features that can be expected with these new earbuds.

It’s reported that the left and right earbuds will each have their own unique set of controls. Specifically, you hold on the touch control on the left ear to lower the volume and do the opposite on the right ear to increase the volume.

The leak also mentions advanced audio, but it doesn’t mention which audio codecs are being supported with these earbuds. Some battery details are also mentioned. For example, each earbud is reported to have a 63mAh capacity, while the capacity in the case is said to be 595mAh. In addition to these earbuds and the Galaxy Buds On, Samsung is reportedly going to launch a pair of over-the-ear headphones.
