(Washington D.C.–June 24, 2026)–Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman John Boozman (R-Ark.) this week released text for a Senate companion bill to the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 (H.R. 7567), passed by the House of Representatives earlier this year. “Chairman Boozman’s release of Senate Farm Bill legislation is an important step toward reauthorizing one of the nation’s most significant investments in conservation on privately-owned working lands. We appreciate the Committee’s continued recognition that supporting voluntary conservation is essential for farmers, producers, and foresters to have the tools necessary to deliver benefits on the landscape.
