The Pixel 11 phones have leaked several times by this point, and now there’s a leak of the software experience that can be expected from Google’s upcoming phones and smartwatch. Google’s Pixel 11 series is due to make its appearance on August 12 at the latest Made by Google event, which will include the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, Pixel 11 Pro Fold, and the Google Pixel Watch 5.
Much has been seen with regards to the design of the Pixel 11 series and even some of the Pixel Watch 5. However, none of those leaks have really shown off anything to do with the actual software. That all changes today, at least for the Pixel Watch 5 and two of the Pixel 11 series phone models.
The Pixel 11 Pro software experience has been laid bare in several leaked images
Based on several leaked images that were obtained by The Mac Observer, it’s possible to have a glimpse into what the software looks like on the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Both phones are running on Android 17, so if you’re already using this software on a Pixel 10 series device, then things will look pretty familiar to you. That is to say that the software experience for the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro Fold looks the same as it does on the Pixel 10 series. Nothing appears to have changed visually.
The same goes for the Pixel Watch 5, which will be running on Wear OS 7 when it launches, a version of software that’s already available on the Pixel Watch 4. So users will be greeted with menu and UI elements that follow the shape of the screen. With parts of buttons curving and taking on the shape circular display as you scroll up or down.
