Sam’s Club is offering a $15 (70%) discount off of the purchase of new annual Sam’s Club memberships (typically $50) this October. Discounted Sam’s Club memberships are not too hard to find, but this is their best discounted membership offer of the year. Their elevated “Plus” membership is also currently available for a heavily discounted $50 price (more details below). These offers are available to new (and in some cases, reactivated) Sam’s Club members (not renewals) and the offers expire 10/31/2025. With this offer, you’d be purchasing a new Sam’s Club “Club” (standard level) membership for $15 ($45 off full price).
If the elevated Sam’s Club “Plus” membership (typically $110), which comes with some nice added perks, is more to your liking, there is also a Sam’s Club “Plus” membership discount offer (direct affiliate offer) for $50 ($60 off) as well. This is also open only to new members.
Both offers state that the promotion is valid for new Sam’s Club members only; and is not valid for membership renewals, those with a current membership, those who were Sam’s Club members less than six (6) months prior to joining, or Walmart and Sam’s Club associates. So, on the surface, it appears that if your membership has lapsed for at least 6 months, you could get this offer by reactivating.
There are ways to shop at Sam’s Club without a membership, but it’s probably not worth the effort, and you can get a Sam’s Club membership fee refund if you are not satisfied.
I’ve been a member of Costco, BJ’s Wholesale, and Sam’s Club (see my Costco versus Sam’s Club review) and see the value in each of them. If brand name products and lower volume product sizes is your thing, Sam’s Club is probably the best option. Sam’s Club carries more SKUs and lower volume items if you are purchasing for a smaller family and want to avoid throwing out food. If you’re more of a Costco or BJ’s person, I’ll also be highlighting any Costco membership offers and BJ’s Wholesale Club membership offers that come up as well.
