Pixel Watch 4 Charging Problem? Spigen Solved It

Pixel Watch 4 Charging Problem? Spigen Solved It

With the new Pixel Watch 4, Google has once again changed the charging design, making it a challenge to keep your device protected while fully accessing the charging port. Spigen’s Charging Dock Extender solves the problem, allowing you to charge seamlessly without removing the case.

With most other smartwatches, the charger connects to the bottom of the watch, while the Pixel Watch 4 now connects on the side. So why is this a problem? Well, those who want to use a case on their Pixel Watch 4 to help protect that all-glass design are going to have to take off that case to charge their watch every day. Or, forego using a case at all, which is a huge risk given the domed display Google uses.

With the launch of the Pixel Watch 4, Spigen is introducing its new Charging Dock Extender, designed to let you charge your watch seamlessly while keeping your Spigen case on. The extender is included with both the Rugged Armor Pro and Liquid Air cases, so you can enjoy easy charging without any extra purchase.

It should come as no surprise that Spigen has a solution ready to go on launch day for the Pixel Watch 4. For years, Spigen has been an innovator in the mobile accessory space. They have been here from the start: innovating for the Pixel Watch the past 4 generations, which is especially needed for watches like the Pixel Watch 4, where it’s all glass. Now, Spigen is one of the first to solve this Pixel Watch 4 charging issue.

With the Pixel Watch 4, Spigen had a couple of options to make Google’s new charging method work with its cases. They could either create a large charging cutout for the new charger, which would leave the left side of the watch unprotected. Or, have users take the case off every time they need to charge, which isn’t feasible when these watches need to be charged every one to two days.

Spigen’s solution, the Charging Dock Extender, works by placing the dock on top of the existing charger, extending the charge to your watch. So you can just plop your Pixel Watch 4 down on the charger without sacrificing convenience or protection.

The Rugged Armor Pro is a sturdy and protective case/band combo that’s meant for those who are into hiking, biking, and more outdoorsy activities and seek ultimate protection. Liquid Air is perfect for everyday comfort and on-the-go people looking for a lightweight case option to best protect their device. No matter your priorities, Spigen’s case lineup has you covered.

The new Liquid Air and Rugged Armor Pro are available to purchase now, so they’ll arrive with your new Pixel Watch 4 when those start shipping in October. Spigen also has a slew of cases and other accessories available for the Google Pixel 10 and Pixel Watch 4 lineup.
