Ahead of next week’s unveiling, WinFuture has gotten its hands on the full spec sheet of the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Let’s start with the Galaxy Z Fold 8, technically the star of the show this year. It’s going to feature a 5.5-inch cover display with a 7.6-inch inner display, with both of these being 120Hz displays. The inner display will be a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2448×1848 resolution. While the cover display is also going to be a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 1972×1248 resolution.

The new titanium display substrate that Samsung announced last night is seemingly being used here to make the displays more stable and reduce the crease this time around.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 is said to be about 4.5mm thick when unfolded. But the report mentions that this figure is based on the device without the camera bump. That’s about the same thickness as the Motorola Razr Fold, one of the best phones on the market today. With dimensions of 161.4 x 123.9mm, and weighing in at 201g.
Internally, it’ll use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 4 for Galaxy, with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of storage. There are options for 16GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB of storage, as usual.
Cameras here are not too surprising, with dual 50MP cameras on the back. Using a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultrawide. With two 10MP hole-punch cameras on each display. And finally, it has a 4,800mAh capacity battery with 45W charging, which Samsung also claims it can handle 1,200 charging cycles.
Mostly specs that we had already seen leaked, so this is just making things more official.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is a small upgrade over the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It still has a 6.5-inch cover display, which is a 2520×1080 resolution panel, but the 8-inch inner display is being called “completely new”, which is likely because of the titanium announcement Samsung made last night. It’ll still be a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a resolution of 2504×2256. Both displays will still be 120Hz adaptive.
Internally, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage, with 16GB being available for the 1TB model.
On the camera front, we’re looking at a 200MP f/1.7 main sensor, so it hasn’t gotten the upgrade that the Galaxy S26 Ultra received. It does also have that 10MP 3x telephoto sensor and a new 50MP ultrawide. With two 10MP selfie cameras on each display.
Somehow, Samsung has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra even thinner at 4.1mm. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 was 4.2mm, so it’s not a huge difference. Though, the weight has increased from 215g to 218g, which could be because of the bigger battery.
Samsung is outfitting the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra with a 5,000mAh capacity battery and 45W charging, and like the Galaxy Z Fold 8, it also is designed for 1,200 battery cycles.
