TL;DR
- T-Mobile is offering a branded lantern for T-Mobile Tuesdays.
- A leak provides a hands-on look at the upcoming freebie.
- The lantern features an LED that turns inward to light the body and outward to act as a flashlight.
It’s the beginning of the week, and that means T-Mobile Tuesdays is just a day away. If you don’t know, this is the carrier’s loyalty program where customers can get free stuff, exclusive discounts, and entries into sweepstakes. This week’s freebie is a lantern, and a leak has provided an early hands-on look.
The leaked images below come courtesy of The Mobile Report. These images show a white- and magenta-colored lantern with a hook on top, in case you want to hang it up. However, there’s more to this lantern than meets the eye.
It turns out that this item is a 2-in-1 light source. There’s an LED at the bottom that can turn inward to light the body and outward to act as a flashlight. There appears to be a button off to the side that allows the user to flip the direction the LED is facing.
You won’t have to wait long to get your hands on one of these lanterns. They’ll be available tomorrow, October 27, at participating T-Mobile stores. You’ll need to show an employee your T-Life app to pick one up.
In related news, T-Mobile has officially introduced T-Mix, a trio of plans that let you to pick your benefits. When they roll out, T-Mobile Tuesdays will be included in these T-Mix plans.
