After the completion of round one of the All-Ireland SFC, 16 teams are still in with a chance of lifting Sam Maguire.
That will all change in round two with eight teams fighting to remain in the Championship while eight teams will seek to fast-track their way to the All-Ireland quarter-finals.
The provincial series is in the rearview mirror and the four provincial winners had mixed success in the first round.
Kerry fell to a 10-point defeat to Donegal in an ill-tempered clash in Killarney with the fallout from that game still being discussed.
Roscommon are also in the last-chance saloon following their narrow defeat to Tyrone in Dr Hyde Park.
The other two provincial winners fared better in last weekend’s fixtures with Armagh claiming a five-point win over Derry in the Box-It Athletic Grounds while Westmeath saw off a determined Cavan challenge in extra-time in an epic encounter in Mullingar.
The eight round one winners are in the draw for round 2A and they are: Donegal, Cork, Tyrone, Galway, Westmeath, Louth, Armagh and Mayo.
The eight round one losers are in the draw for round 2B and they are: Kerry, Kildare, Meath, Roscommon, Dublin, Derry, Cavan and Monaghan.
All games will be played on the weekend on June 13/14.
We’ll have full details of how this morning’s draw will work and a rundown of the new format for the weeks ahead before the round two draw at around 8.30am.
