With this offer, you’d be purchasing a new BJ’s Wholesale Club “Club” (standard level) membership for $15 (normally $75) OR a “Club+” (premium level) membership for $40 (normally $160).
As noted above, there is a bonus reward opportunity with this offer as well. If you purchase a qualifying membership and spend a qualifying amount of $45 (for The Club Card members) or $120 (for The Club+ Card members) before discounts and after taxes, in one transaction in-club or on BJs.com within 30 days of membership enrollment, you can get a $15 reward (for The Club Card members) or a $40 reward (for The Club+ Card members) added to the primary membership account within 24 hours of qualifying purchase to be used within 30 days from the date of the qualifying purchase. In general with wholesale clubs, if you shop wisely by focusing on high-volume food purchases (particularly with generic house brands), you can save a significant amount versus typical grocery stores. BJ’s claims that you can “Save up to 25% off grocery store prices”.
A new BJ’s Wholesale Club opened about 13 miles from our house in the last year, so I’ve been curious to check them out. BJ’s now has nearly 250 locations across 20 states, mostly in the Northeast, East coast, and Midwest.
