    Central Bank of India logs 19.57% growth in gross advances in Q3FY26

    Central Bank of India (CBoI) has reported a 13.23 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) growth in total deposits and a 19.57 per cent y-o-y growth in gross advances in the third quarter ended December 31, 2025.

    As of December 2025, the public sector bank’s total deposits and gross advances stood at ₹4,50,536 crore and ₹3,23,773 crore, respectively, per provisional numbers shared by the Bank in its regulatory filing.

    The CASA (current account, savings account) ratio declined to 47.12 per cent of total deposits as at December-end 2025 against 49.18 per cent as at December-end 2024.

    The credit-deposit ratio improved to 72.06 per cent as at December-end 2025 against 68.25 per cent as at December-end 2024.

    Total business (deposits plus advances) was up 15.80 per cent y-o-y and stood at ₹7,74,309 crore as at December-end 2025.
