Coronation Street fans are convinced that one character will be killed off after they announced their exit earlier this year.
Coronation Street teaser shows Asha’s breaking point
In the latest episode of Coronation Street, viewers were given a glimpse into the harsh realities faced by Asha Alahan (Tasha Ghouri) during her shifts as a trainee paramedic.
The Weatherfield resident is currently going through a rough patch as her twin brother Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) prepares to move to India.
There may be more departures on the horizon in Coronation Street, as one star hinted at missing a fellow cast member.
During the special point-of-view episode on the ITV show, audiences watched Asha save a man’s life, only to later learn he didn’t survive, assist an elderly woman who had fallen, and aid a child in an ambulance.
However, it was a confrontation with a racially abusive, intoxicated woman that seemed to push Asha to her limit when the woman spat at her and threw a glass bottle at the vehicle, reports Leicestershire Live.

At her brother’s farewell party, Asha stepped outside where she began to have a panic attack, paralysed with fear as the flashback played out on-screen.
Despite assuring Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) that she was okay, it was evident that the teenager was far from fine.
That night, she went home and broke down in tears while leaving a message for her brother, pleading with him not to leave.
When Aadi later listened to the message, it seemed as though she had re-recorded it, not wanting to burden him with the truth ahead of his departure.
While some viewers reckon her brother will twig that something’s amiss and decide to stick around in Weatherfield, others are bracing themselves for a tragic death.
One fan took to X, querying: “Does aadi stay and gets killed off #corrie.” Another chimed in with: “I’ve a horrible feeling something awful is going to happen to Aadi.”
Another viewer posted: “Asha’s emotional voice-note to Aadi is leading me to believe he’s gonna get killed off!!” With someone else adding: “Are they gonna kill Aadi off on top of that voice note?”
Earlier this year, actor Adam Hussain revealed on social media that he was exiting the soap.
Back in April, he announced: “I guess the secrets out now! As some of you may have heard, I will be leaving Coronation Street for new pastures.
“Over the 5 years I’ve spent there I have learned so much about the world and the industry and now feel I am ready to spread my wings a little. I have made friends that will last a lifetime and will surely miss such a special family!
“This isn’t a farewell for Aadi, however, more like a see you later! I’m excited to see what the future brings! Thank you @coronationstreet @itv for giving me such a privilege of portraying this character for you. Until next time!”
