Easton launches email for questions, ideas on sustainability

EASTON, Pa. — If you have an idea to make the city more energy-efficient, or a concern about the environment, there’s now an email for that.

Brandon Sullivan, the city’s new sustainability coordinator, has launched an email address for residents, businesses and organizations to submit ideas or concerns about sustainability and environmental initiatives.

    The email is sustainability@easton-pa.gov.

“Hopefully, this inbox serves as a valuable resource connecting me with the community and providing new insights.”

    Brandon Sullivan, sustainability coordinator

“Hopefully, this inbox serves as a valuable resource connecting me with the community and providing new insights,” Sullivan said. “Think of the email as a virtual paper drop-box.”

While he said he can’t promise a response to every email, he’ll do his best to read each one.

Sullivan last month was hired for the new position, which is focused on efforts to mitigate the impacts of climate change. His hire marks the third major city in the Valley to carve out and fill a position focused solely on sustainability.
