Gemini AI To Steal the Show at Samsung’s Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 Launch

Are you a fan of foldable mobile devices? If so, you probably know that Samsung will launch its new Fold and Flip phones in the coming weeks. Ahead of the upcoming Unpacked event, a leak has revealed early details about it. Apparently, artificial intelligence, specifically Gemini AI and Galaxy AI, will take center stage during the announcement of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.

The buzz around Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event is growing. Now, the latest report from tipster PandaFlash 𝕏 suggests that the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will heavily feature Google’s advanced AI capabilities, among other exciting improvements.

Samsung will give Gemini AI a major role in the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7

According to the leaked information, Samsung plans to dedicate significant airtime to Gemini AI at the launch. “Gemini Live” is specifically highlighted as a key selling point for both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. This suggests a deeper integration of real-time AI functionalities into the One UI experience. The move makes sense considering the line that Samsung has followed when announcing its latest mobile Galaxy devices.

While AI is in the spotlight, camera enthusiasts won’t be left out. Samsung isn’t planning a lengthy deep dive into camera specifics. However, it will emphasize a “New 200MP Main Camera” for the Z Fold 7. This will be paired with a “Next Gen Pro-Visual Engine” and the ability to capture “log video,” promising pro-grade imaging capabilities for creators and casual users alike.

Slim and durable designs, another big focus

Design and durability are also getting a narrative push. Samsung aims to boast about the enhanced toughness of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. Recent leaks have revealed that the company will make the device both more durable and thinner. The new report claims that Samsung will focus on “Thickness Engineering” and the introduction of an “All-New UTG” (Ultra-Thin Glass) during the event. It seems that the days when foldable phones were super prone to damage are over.

There are also details about what Samsung has in store for the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Specifically, the leaks mention “improved photo quality,” enhancements to the “cover display,” and “new cases.” These tailored improvements suggest a focus on refining the compact foldable’s core appeal.

Beyond these core updates, Samsung is also expected to highlight other intriguing features. The list includes “Pro-Scaler” and “Galaxy AI Generative Edits,” which will be available for both models. Lastly, we’ll also see potential improvements to the “Now-Brief” feature and a dive into the “Samsung XR.”

Samsung hasn’t officially revealed an exact date for the second Unpacked event of the year yet. However, everything points to it being in July, just like last year.
