Hisense S6 FollowMe: The Smart Screen That Wheels into Any Room

Every year, the CES event brings a lot of innovation to the tech industry across multiple sectors. One of the segments where we see the most announcements is TVs. Hisense, as one of the TV brands with the most fans, wants to be part of the party. It seems the company wants to change the “static” format of your Smart TV into something much more mobile. At CES 2026, Hisense will launch the S6 FollowMe, a so-called “lifestyle” display that prioritizes mobility over screen size.

The new product aims to compete with similar offerings from major firms like Samsung and LG. It’s part of a growing trend where screens are losing their stationary nature to become “hybrid mobile tools.” More specifically, they aim to be part tablet, part television, and part smart-home hub.

Hisense S6 Follow Me: A mobile display hub for your smart home

Despite names like “FollowMe,” these devices are not autonomous robots. There are no motors or AI sensors driving them across your floor. Instead, the Hisense S6 FollowMe is a 32-inch 4K touchscreen mounted on a wheeled pedestal. It is designed to be pushed manually from the home office to the kitchen or the bedroom.

The value of this screen lies in its versatility. The stand allows the screen to tilt, rotate, and shift in height. This means it can function as a vertical monitor for social media feeds, a low-angle display for following a workout on the floor, or a counter-height assistant for viewing recipes.

    Tech specs for untethered use

For a display to be truly mobile, it has to overcome the limitations of a standard TV. First, the S6 addresses this with a built-in battery that provides up to 10 hours of use. This removes the need for a constant power cable.

The product also needs to deal with varying light conditions as it moves through a house. With this in mind, the panel features an anti-glare, low-reflection coating. It also includes Wi-Fi 6 for stable connectivity and a built-in camera for video calls. While the integrated audio uses DTS Virtual:X to ensure clear dialogue, the device targets utility and casual streaming rather than replacing a high-end home theater system.

    Availability

Hisense is entering a competitive niche. The S6 FollowMe is a direct response to LG’s StanbyME and Samsung’s MovingStyle. While the Samsung version focuses more on a clean, monitor-like aesthetic without a touchscreen, Hisense is betting that users want a more interactive, tablet-like experience on a larger scale.

The S6 FollowMe is scheduled to launch in the United States on May 1, 2026. The official price is still pending, although we will probably know it during CES 2026. That said, the current market for these mobile 32-inch displays typically hovers around $1,200.
