India and the five-nation Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), comprising Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia, have signed terms of reference to begin talks on a free trade agreement. Inked in Moscow, the move marks a key step for India as it seeks to diversify its exports in the face of steep US tariffs.
