Samsung introduced its flagship Galaxy Buds 3 range of earbuds in July last year. However, the South Korean tech giant could take a different approach with the next-gen Galaxy Buds 4 series. Reports indicate that the brand could introduce the new series alongside the Galaxy S26 series flagships. A new firmware leak has now given us a first look at the design of the Galaxy Buds 4 variant.

New leak gives a glimpse at the Galaxy Buds 4’s design

Earlier in September, the model numbers of the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro leaked via a One UI 8.5 build. Folks over at Android Authority have now spotted an icon for the Galaxy Buds 4 in the same leaked One UI 8.5 build.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 design leak

As shown in the leaked image above, the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 could have a less triangular design. The new earbuds will retain their stem-like design, but they could be more rounded or even flat. Furthermore, the leak suggests that the new wearable will have in-ear tips for listening to music and more.

The upgraded model could have better AI features

At the moment, there aren’t many details available about the features of the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4. However, you can expect some improvements in the audio, noise cancellation, and battery department. The Galaxy Buds 3 already have AI-powered live translation capabilities, and the brand could improve them on the new model.

We can also expect a range of new AI features to match the rivals. We can only wait and watch what Samsung has up its sleeves for the upcoming Galaxy Buds range devices.
