Samsung’s wide-screen version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, referred to in the past as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide online, has leaked in a new series of renders just before Samsung is prepared to unfold its announcement to the public at Galaxy Unpacked on July 22. While Samsung hasn’t confirmed that it will be announcing a wide version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 at Unpacked this week, several rumors and previous leaks of the device have already surfaced.
Back in late June, a large collection of renders surfaced showing off cases for all three of Samsung’s upcoming foldables, and in a few of those shots you can see renders of the actual phone as well. More recently, an even more in-depth look at the phone appeared alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. So there’s not much left to the imagination here, even if Samsung hasn’t officially unveiled anything.
The leaked Galaxy Z Fold 8 renders show its colors and display layers
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 has been unofficially revealed in just about every way already, but these new renders showcase a little more of the phone prior to its announcement. One image showcases all three colors that the phone will reportedly be available in. This includes a black, a white, and some sort of light purple color.
Another image showcases the phone’s multi-layer setup for the inner display, which includes three layers by the looks of it. Samsung calls this its Flex Titanium technology, which was officially announced back on July 14. All three of these renders originally come from Roland Quandt on Bluesky (via GSMArena), but that post now seems to have been deleted. These new renders don’t show much of what hasn’t already been seen, but they do give you a slightly different view of things.
