Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 came to the market with some impactful changes that set it apart from every other iteration. Most notably is how incredibly thin it is. You can get this directly through AT&T but you won’t have all of the color choices available. Luckily, Amazon offers it unlocked and has more options, and you could just activate on AT&T afterwards.
Aside from the colors, the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 is sporting 68W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. You aren’t going to get wireless charging that’s that fast on many devices. Certainly not Google’s Pixel 10 series phones, and most definitely not on the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which caps out at 10W for wireless charging. So, once you drain the already good battery on the Razr Ultra 2025, you can just charge it back up rapidly and be good to go in no time.
Of course, it’s also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip which is the best chip available in phones for performance at the moment. At least until the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 phones come along. When it comes to performance, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro can hang with the best as it is one of the best out there for performance. This is all thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which drives the majority of the performance for this device in demanding tasks like high-end mobile gaming.
To help sustain that performance, the phone comes with a small cooling fan towards the top left corner just below the rear camera module. Not only that, but it has a pretty large vapor chamber to help dissipate that heat. This is going to be a pretty important thing with this phone if you’re playing for longer periods of time. REDMAGIC also incorporates special software that enhances the gaming experience, and this part of the magic. The “red” magic if you will. This software lets you monitor stats and tweak things on the fly, but also has built-in AI-powered features.
What might be one of the coolest things about this phone, however, are the ultrasonic triggers on the device. These will be on the top when you’re holding the phone in landscape mode to play games, and they act like left and right triggers would on a controller. You wouldn’t use these in every game, but they’re really handy for first-person and third-person shooters. And on top of all that, it has an absolutely massive battery, so you can game for a while before needing to charge it up. Even when you do need to charge it, it supports 80W charging.

Best Small Android Phone
The Samsung Galaxy S25 is easily one of the best phones available at its price point, and that partly makes it the best small Android phone you can get for your money these days on AT&T. There are other factors, too, of course. Like its powerful performance thanks to top-notch hardware, and the overall premium experience you get despite being hundreds less than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra might be the best overall Android phone you can buy right now, but not everyone wants to spend over $1,000 to get a smartphone. For those consumers, there’s the Galaxy S25. This will give you a relatively similar experience with only a few downgrades, that quite honestly, aren’t going to matter to the average consumer.
What’s more evident now than ever is that Samsung can offer a premium flagship experience that doesn’t cost more than $800. And that’s an accomplishment all on its own. You still get a really good display, great cameras, a smooth user experience, and battery life that isn’t going to let you down. Plus, some pretty good color options. That isn’t to say the phone is without its flaws. It’s certainly not. However, it’s the best small Android phone available when you tally up all the good things about it.

There was a time when smaller phones were actually a sought after thing. These were usually referred to as ‘Compact’ models of their larger counterparts, and they were great. They fit in your pocket and still had all the powerful specs and features that the larger models had. Things have shifted away from that in some respects with the phones of today, but not for the Samsung Galaxy S25, for the most part.
It still manages to pack in some serious performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which by the way is the same chipset that you get with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The cameras aren’t quite as good, but they’re nearly as good, and for a lot of people that’s going to be perfectly fine. Because this is still going to be really good when compared to a lot of other phones out there. Even if a few other phones around the same price might beat this phone out on cameras, the Galaxy S25 wins out in more areas so it ends up being the better choice overall.
Samsung has essentially perfected the capability of delivering a smaller device that looks and feels just as premium as the more expensive variants. So, in the end, you don’t feel like you’re losing out on too much if you don’t go for the higher-priced phone. What else makes this phone special? The software. One UI has gotten really good these days, but more importantly, this is another phone that Samsung is going to support for seven years of software updates. Which means, the last Android version this phone will be upgraded too will be released in 2032. If you want a premium phone that isn’t massive and won’t break the bank, this is it.
