Apple shoppers who pick this UK retailer can spread the cost of the AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 3

We’ve found a way to split the price of the Apple AirPods 4

For savvy shoppers on the hunt for a cheaper deal, Sky Mobile is currently offering a steal on Apple AirPods 4 for just £4 per month with no upfront cost – a far cry from forking out £119 at Amazon and Apple’s own store at once.

The £4 monthly plan, which works out to be around 13p a day based on an average 30-day month, covers the AirPods 4 with passive noise cancellation. Those seeking enhanced audio quality can opt for the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation at £5.50 per month.

However, for those wanting the very best, Sky also stocks the Apple AirPods Pro 3 at £7 per month – a modest price difference that may well be worth the upgrade. Apple launched this latest model in September alongside the iPhone 17 series, boldly claiming it delivers the ‘world’s best’ in-ear Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

According to Apple, the Pro 3 provides up to four times more ANC than both the original AirPods Pro and AirPods 4 with ANC. The earbuds come equipped with Adaptive Audio and Transparency modes, alongside personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking.

Adding to their impressive spec sheet, the AirPods Pro 3 introduce heart rate monitoring during exercise, as well as Hearing Aid, Hearing Protection and live translation capabilities. Apple states the Pro 3 can deliver eight hours of listening on a single charge, with the MagSafe Charging Case on hand to top up the battery while out and about.

Instead of dishing out hundreds outright at Apple and Amazon, shoppers can split the price of the AirPods 4 to £4 a month, which is around 13p a day. The pair have an open ear design and ANC.

The key consideration with Sky Mobile’s AirPods offer is the 36-month contract length. Those who prefer can opt for shorter 24 or 12-month agreements, though these come with higher monthly payments, reports the Daily Record.

While monthly payment plans typically cost more than purchasing outright, they offer a more manageable option than paying the full amount upfront. For instance, Amazon sells the AirPods Pro 3 for £199, whereas Sky is more expensive overall but split across 36-months.

Also at Amazon and on sale are the souncore C50i by Anker buds, priced at £47.99 instead of the usual £59.99 price. These are great for those looking for reliable tech but confined to a smaller budget.

Also on sale are an Apple rival, a pair from Samsung. The Galaxy Buds 4 can be cut by 15%, shaving pounds off the usual £159 price – these are direct rivals to the AirPods 4 and both offer an open fit.

The AirPods Pro 3 boast a 4.5-star rating on Amazon based on over 3,000 reviews, with one satisfied buyer commenting: “Superb noise-cancelling and secure fit in ear. Sound quality is great, and the battery life means you can use these all day.

The touch control and transparency feature is also great when you want to be connected to your surroundings.” Another reviewer noted: “You know what to expect from Apple.

“Amazing build quality and great features. They sound great, and the active noise cancellation is insane.”

Nevertheless, despite awarding five stars, the same purchaser issued a cautionary note: “The ear tips are prone to tearing when removing them, so just be cognisant of this if you decide to change the ear tip size.”

Meanwhile, this customer states: “They are the best headphones I’ve had, the noise cancellation is amazing, and the transparency when running outdoors is great. I can hear my music but also everything around, never had anything like them before.”
