Bajaj Finserv (₹1,971)
Strong base ahead
After hitting a high of ₹2,119.30 on August 5, the stock of Bajaj Finserv has seen a price correction. Currently trading at ₹1,971, there are notable support levels ahead at ₹1,940 and ₹1,900. Within these two levels lies the 50-day moving average support. Hence, the price band of ₹1,900-1,940 is a strong base. There is a good chance for the stock to rebound on the back of these levels. A rally, either from the current level of ₹1,971 or after a fall to ₹1,900-1,940 price band, cam take the stock to ₹2,300. Traders can buy now at ₹1,971 and ₹1,920. Place stop-loss at ₹1,875. On a rally to ₹2,100 and ₹2,200, alter the stop-loss to ₹2,000 and ₹2,150 respectively. Book profits at ₹2,300.
IGL (₹158.05)
Sees fresh breakout
The stock of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has been consolidating since early July. It has been oscillating between ₹147 and ₹156. But last week, the scrip closed above the resistance ₹156 as it appreciated a little over 7 per cent. Consequently, the price has now risen above both 21- and 50-day moving averages. While there is a chance for the stock to see some moderation in price, possibly to ₹154, we expect the stock to eventually resume the uptrend and appreciate to ₹172 in the near-term. So, traders can go long now at ₹158 and accumulate at ₹154. Place stop-loss at ₹145. When the stock rises to ₹165, raise the stop-loss to ₹158. Book profits at ₹172.
Titagarh Rail Systems (₹871.90)
Bulls gaining traction
The stock of Titagarh Rail Systems has been charting a sideways trend, between ₹800 and ₹880, for the last couple of months. While this range is yet to be breached, there are signs on the chart of the bulls gaining traction. Towards the end of the last week, there was notable uptick in price and the scrip is now above key moving averages. This happened on the back of the support at ₹800. So long as this level holds true, the likelihood of a breakout of ₹880 will remain high. Once this occurs, the stock can see a quick rally to ₹1,100. Buy at ₹871 and ₹840. Place stop-loss at ₹780. On a rally to ₹950 and ₹1,050, revise the stop-loss to ₹890 and ₹1,000, respectively. Exit at ₹1,100.
