We have a new exclusive for you: a new phone. This time around, we have the Samsung Galaxy A18 4G images to share, along with the phone’s specs. There’s plenty of information to go around here.
Before we start, it’s worth saying that there will be a 5G variant of this phone as well. That version will look identical to this one, and even its specs will be almost the same. Some differences are expected, though. Samsung may also differentiate at least one color variant as well, between the two devices, at least based on part models.
The Samsung Galaxy A18 4G looks basically the same as its predecessor
With that being said, if you check out the gallery below, you’ll see the Samsung Galaxy A18 4G. As you can see, it basically looks like the Galaxy A17. In all honesty, it’s impossible to tell them apart.
The phone is shown in Black, Light Blue, and Silver colors, wihch is also look very similar to what last year’s model offered, at least based on these renders.
The bottom bezel is still noticeably thicker than the rest of them
The phone has a flat display with a display camera notch at the top. The bottom bezel is notably thicker than the rest of the phone, while you’ll notice the ‘Key Island’ on the right side. The part where the buttons are is basically raised a bit compared to the frame itself. Power/lock and volume up and down buttons sit there.
That brings me to the back of the phone. It’s flat, while there is a vertically aligned camera island placed in the top-left corner. Three cameras sit inside it, and it does protrude a bit.
The specs barely changed
What about the specs? Well, they’re very similar to what the Galaxy A17 4G offered. There is a 6.7-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display included here with a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus.
MediaTek’s Helio G99 processor fuels the phone, and it includes 4GB of RAM. You’ll be able to choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. That storage will be expandable via a microSD card (up to 2TB).
A 5,000mAh battery is also a part of the package here, and the phone supports 25W wired charging. The device is IP64 rated, and it supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3.
A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8) is backed by a 5-megapixel ultrawide unit and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A18 4G measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.7mm, while it weighs 193 grams. The base model will cost €299.
