Marks & Spencer shoppers are praising a pair of linen-rich trousers from the retailer as ‘fabulous’ and ‘cool and comfortable’ for hotter weather.
The Linen Rich Tie Side Wide Leg Trousers are available in sizes 6 to 20 in the black shade (at time of writing), or sizes 8 to 16 in khaki. There are short/petite, regular, and long lengths in stock depending on your chosen size and colour.
The product description on the Marks & Spencer website states: “Elevate your summer style with these linen-rich trousers. The wide-leg shape and pull-on design with an elasticated waist make them a comfortable choice for warmer days. Ties on the waistband and sporty side stripes add extra detail. M&S Collection: easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles.”
Normally priced at £18, we’ve found a way some shoppers can get the trousers for considerably less through money-saving platform TopCashback.

The M&S trousers have received an impressive overall rating of 4.6/five stars based on 78 customer reviews. One happy shopper who titled their review ‘fabulous trousers for the summer’ said: “This has been a staple for my summer wardrobe. I’m 5ft 5 and the regular are a great fit.”
A second added: “Love the quality and elegance of these trousers, can be worn as smart of casual and a great fit.”
“Excellent value for money, good quality material. I have them in 2 colours. Just the right length, which isn’t always easy to find”, penned a third.

However, not everyone was as pleased with their purchase. One review reads: “I wasn’t keen on these trousers, maybe it was the stripe that wasn’t a pure white. They fitted ok but a bit short. I’m having issues with the new size lengths.”
Another added: “The side laces make it awkward to get in and out of them, also to get the correct fit as both sides are to adjust. Linen was quite stiff which may have improved with washing. Found the depth from waist to crotch too deep.”
But a different reviewer loved their recent M&S purchase and said: “Fabulous pair of trousers. Perfect fit nice detail easy to wear. Light and cool. Want another pair!”
Another buyer said in their five-star review: “I love these trousers. The are smart and the fine detail of ties and thin piping on the side seam just add to the style. I found the sizing just perfect for me too.”
