There is yet another monthly Instacart credit promo offer that comes with 3-months of free Instacart+ membership to take advantage of – this time for Mastercard cardholders. This offer follows in the footsteps of the $10 monthly Instacart/Costco Same Day credit for Costco Executive members and the lucrative monthly Chase card Instacart credits of $10/month for many co-branded cards or $20 per month for Ink business cards (both are still active). And, fortunately, this monthly credit appears to stack on top of the Chase credits for a potential maximum $30 credit on a single order each month. Instacart Mastercard Credit and 3 Months Free Instcart+ Promo Details
In addition to 3 months of free Instacart+, this offer is for a $10 monthly credit for any eligible credit or debit Mastercard or a $20 monthly credit for any eligible small business credit or debit Mastercard. A key difference with the monthly credits (compared to the Chase credits) is that the credit is for your second order each month.
The $10 or $20 monthly credits last through January 31, 2027. Also, you must have an active Instacart+ membership and select your eligible Mastercard as the method of payment to receive the credit (more on that in a bit). I’ve personally tested this credit and have a number of trial/error tips for readers at the bottom of this article.

A few important notes from personal experience trial/error in using this credit (your mileage may vary):
- It looks like you can only get 1 offer – so enroll a business Mastercard if you have one to get the $20 monthly credit (versus $10 with a non-business Mastercard). I tried enrolling both a business Mastercard and then a regular Mastercard, and the regular Mastercard did not enroll. Your mileage may vary, but the terms state “This offer is valid for only one eligible Mastercard card per Instacart account.“.
- I received an email for a $10 monthly credit, however, when I clicked the link my default payment method was a small business Mastercard and it was the $20 monthly credit offer.
- You do not need to sign up for the Instacart business account option when prompted, in order to redeem the credits – you can skip that (if you want to).
- If you don’t want to continue with Instacart+ after the promo is over, make sure to leave yourself a reminder to cancel before the promo period ends.
- While you should select the Mastercard as the payment method for the 1st and 2nd order, the credit triggered for me even though I paid for the order with Cart Cash from purchased Instacart gift cards (bonus tip: you can often get discounted Instacart gift cards from Best Buy and up to 20% cash back on purchasing them with the UPromise Mastercard – one of the best ways to save on Instacart orders).
- As noted above, this credit appears to stack on top of the Chase credits (I haven’t tested with Costco credits yet, but that seems likely too). So, if you’re using an eligible business Mastercard that is also an eligible enrolled Chase Mastercard, you can effectively get a $30 credit ($10 + $20) on the same order.
